Every mobile slots player has heard of the big names in the industry, such as mFortune and LadyLuck’s, but there are two relatively new names in the world of mobile slots, both of whom are rising rapidly: Fruity Phone and PocketFruity. The big question is this though: which of these two mobile casinos is better? We will answer this question for you, as we look over the different aspects of these sites…
There are a few different areas that we need to look at in order to work out whether Fruity Phone or PocketFruity is the better site. The areas we will be looking at are:
- Mobile slot selection
- How much can be won
We think that these are the five most important parts of any mobile casino, and therefore we will stick to these five subsections. Of course, there are other things that you might also want to know about the casinos as well, and if you do, make sure you have a look at our PocketFruity review and our Fruity Phone review on this site. Anyway, let’s get on with the comparisons…
Mobile Slot Selection
The first – and most important – are that we’ll look at is the mobile slots offered by each of the sites. This is vital, as after all, it is this selection which determines how much fun you have while you are playing at the mobile casinos! When it comes to the number they offer, they are reasonably equal, as PocketFruity has 7 and Fruity Phone has 9 – we all know that quantity doesn’t count for everything though, so what about the quality of the games?
When it comes to quality, PocketFruity wins hands down. This isn’t because the graphics are better though, or because there are more features (although the trail board on the different PocketFruity mobile slots is really good). It is simply because the games the site offers are original and haven’t been seen before, while the ones on Fruity Phone are made by Probability and you’ll have seen them at other sites like LadyLuck’s and Moobile Games. The coin feature on PocketFruity is really cool too.
Result: PocketFruity wins this round, making it 0-1
Now we move on to the bonuses offered by the sites, and we’ll start by looking at the bonuses found on PocketFruity. When you play on PocketFruity you’ll find these bonuses:
- £10 Welcome Bonus. When you sign up, you’ll get £10 to play with, completely free!
- 100% First Deposit Bonus. Your first deposit will be matched by the site, up to a maximum value of £60.
- Refer A Friend. For every friend you get to sign up to the site, PocketFruity will give you an extra £20 to play with.
- VIP Status. If you become a VIP, you’ll gain access to loads of different promotions and bonuses that standard members can’t get.
- Fruity Friday. Every Friday, the site gives prizes away to those entering the free competitions, such as gadgets and cash.
Now let’s take a look at the bonuses offered by the other site we are looking at, Fruity Phone:
- £2.50 Welcome Bonus. As soon as you join up, you’ll get £2.50 placed into your account, before you even make a deposit.
- 100% First Deposit Match. The site will match your first deposit, up to a value of £100.
That’s a pretty uneven matchup to be honest, as PocketFruity has wiped the floor with their competitor! They offer more bonuses and a much better Welcome Bonus, although their First Deposit Bonus isn’t quite as generous.
Result: PocketFruity take round two, making the score 0-2
As both of these sites are relatively new, their jackpots haven’t quite peaked yet, so they are both smaller than other sites in the mobile casino world. Both sites offer jackpots of up to about £500 at the moment on the games, but these will grow as more and more people start to play on the games.
When it comes to the smaller wins on the site, both sites have a good live list of people winning, and these lists show that both sites are giving away prizes of between £1 and £50 on a very regular basis. This is good, because it shows that, even though the jackpots aren’t big, you can still rake in some good wins on both sites.
Result: It’s a draw here, meaning that the score stays 0-2
There isn’t really too much to say about security, as both of them are trusted sites regulated by well-known bodies. PocketFruity is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, while Fruity Phone is regulated by the Government of Gibraltar. This means that they are both monitored to ensure that they are operating fairly and in accordance with strict guidelines – meaning you are safe to play on them!
If you have any concerns, both have very good customer service departments as well. They will be able to advise you regarding any aspect of the site’s security – or any other matter – and they can be contacted by clicking on the Help or Contact buttons on the sites’ homepages.
Result: Another draw, meaning that PocketFruity still holds a two point lead. It’s 0-2.
By compatibility, we mean whether the different mobile casinos work on all phones, and the simple answer is that they both certainly do. In fact, all mobile casinos now have to ensure that they work on iPhones, BlackBerrys, Android phones and Symbian phones, as well as any other phone that pops up. After all, if the sites don’t let a certain group of phone owners play, they could be missing out on a lot of money!
Result: A simple one to end with, and it’s a draw. PocketFruity takes the contest 0-2!
So, PocketFruity is the winner! They were closely matched in the last two categories, but they really won it by having better bonuses and, more importantly, much more original games. We’ll be back with more of these match-ups in the near future, so make sure you keep coming back to see who we pit against each other next!
