Realistic Games LogoIt’s been a busy few days for Realistic Games. The award winning games developer may have just penned a deal with NYX Gaming – which will see NYX distributing Realistic games to its broad and growing customer base – but that hasn’t stopped it from managing to also release a band new slot. The new game – Colour of Money – is available in phone, tablet and desktop versions, and despite not boasting a progressive jackpot, offers player the chance to land up to 300x their stake.

Deal with NYX Gaming Group

The agreement between Realistic and NYX came too late to be included in my article about exciting new partnerships, but that doesn’t mean that it’s any less important the others we’ve seen enjoy their naissance in the last few weeks. Though both companies are software developers (i.e. neither of them is an operator who will feature the others games on their casinos) that doesn’t mean a partnership between them can’t be lucrative.

NYX Gaming LogoNYX will from now on feature Realistic titles on its exclusive OGS distribution platform, a move that will benefit both parties hugely. Short of seeing each other as competition, Realistic and NYX have been, um, realistic about what they can gain from each other. While Realistic ensures that its games reach a much broader audience, NYX gets to augment its current offering with fantastic Realist titles, such as the ground breaking slots Super Graphics Upside-Down and 6 Appeal.

The new deal means that we will soon be found on casinos like Unibet, Betsson, Mr Green, Vera&John, and Leo Vegas.

Colour of Money

Another of the games which is likely to make its way onto the OGS platform shortly is the newly released game Colour of Money. Bucking Realistic’s current trend of creating games which demonstrate technical flare, and are jammed filled with futuristic graphics and myriad features, Colour of Money appeals more to the nostalgia of gaming, looking to the past and the style, features and aesthetic of traditional slots.

This departure from futurism doesn’t mean that this three reel slot is any tell exciting or any less well put together. Featuring nudges, Super Spins, Win Series features, and a top prize of 300x your initial stake, no one can accuse Colour of Money of being short of decent features.

The game’s release comes ahead of two more slots and a unique table game which Realistic has promised will be released in the spring. These new titles teamed with the company’s new relationship with NYX mean that Realistic is not only treating players to more, better and easily accessible games, but also positioning itself in a hugely enviable position within the casino industry.
